Valentine’s Day is a time every year where we celebrate love. Love146 believes that love protects and defends. We’re asking you to celebrate love that protects by throwing a party around Valentine’s Day. Invite friends and make them aware of the problem of child trafficking and exploitation. Give them an opportunity to join in on solving the problem.

America prides itself on being the land of the free, but many of its children still live in captivity. The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children estimates that over 100,000 children in the U.S. are trafficked and exploited annually.
That’s unacceptable.
Every day, children are exploited – deceived by a culture that tells them the pimp life is glamorous. The truth? Pimps are modern-day slave owners and they aren’t just hanging out on street corners in third-world countries. They’re in our backyard and they pose an enormous risk to American children.
The money raised this Valentine’s Day will go towards Prevention education for vulnerable children in America. Prevention education is necessary. It will equip children with the truth about trafficking and giving them the tools to identify sexual exploitation and protect themselves and their friends. In 2013, we’re going on the offensive -- we need to reach our children before traffickers do. We’re starting to grow the fight by going into more schools all over the country – starting in the northeast United States and moving into more areas as quickly as we can.
