The Collective Shout Conference is Sold Out.
After hearing stories of child sex slavery, we are all left with the burning question:
but what can I do to abolish child trafficking and exploitation?
Join the collective shout. We're calling together the voices of abolitionists, practitioners, and survivors to consider how Love changes the story of trafficking and victimization into a story of abolition and survival. Come with the expectation to be challenged, empowered, and resourced with tools to advance the abolition of child sex slavery and exploitation.
The Collective Shout Conference will create a space that goes beyond statistics to practical, innovative and powerful strategies; a space that moves out of theory and into real stories and real training; a space that gathers inspiring people and experts to create the synergistic power to move forward with the most effective strategies.
This program has been approved for 14.75 Continuing Education Credits Hours by the National Association of Social Workers, CT and meets the continuing education criteria for CT Social Work Licensure renewal (for participation in the entire conference).

Why New Haven?
The Collective Shout Conference will be held November 12 and 13 in New Haven, Connecticut. Holding this conference in New Haven is particularly poignant because it was there that the 1841 Amistad court case freed the slaves who rebelled on the slave ship La Amistad and it was from New Haven that the Amistad case became a symbol of hope and justice for the abolitionist movement in the 19th century.
This conference will offer you networking opportunities, breakout sessions, working groups, survivor stories, and trailblazing plenary speakers.
Travel to and from New Haven
Ground Transportation to/from Airports
It is not recommended that you take a taxi to New Haven from BDL, JFK, LGA or EWR airports as it would be very expensive. Taxi service from/to Tweed New Haven airport should be $10-15 from downtown New Haven.
